New Owners/Residents
For those of us who have been here for any amount of time, it is amazing to see all the new grading and building. We would like to extend a warm welcome to all our new neighbors. Please do not hesitate to call any of the Board or Committee members if you need anything. Always remember - check with an Architectural Committee member before starting any grading/construction. For anyone who wishes to volunteer for any of the committees, we could always use an extra pair of hands!

Water News
Construction for the EMWD water project is well underway. Crews have been working at the tank and pump station sites. From our last update of May 7, 2006, the projected date of completion is August 2006.

Brush Clearance
The Fire Department sent out letters to all property owners recently with guidelines for brush clearance. Please comply soon as they are scheduled to visit the area within the next month.

Snake Season
It seems that summer is finally here, after the wet Spring. With this, the snakes are out of hibernation. There have recently been four (4) rattlesnake bites to local dogs, which is unusually high. (Fortunately, they are all fine!) There is a vaccination available at most of the vets which, although does not prevent symptoms completely, will reduce them and buy some time to get the animal some medical attention. There has been no development yet for humans! PLEASE pay attention to where children are playing and watch out when working near wood piles, drainage pipes and in tall weeds. Let's all have a safe summer.

OUR THANKS
To Derek Richell for all his hard work on the Board. Due to health issues, Derek resigned his position in April. Get Well soon Derek! Also, to his wife, Catherine Richell, who does a wonderful job as our Webmaster. Without her computer talents and dedication, you would probably not have this to read!!
