modification package for membership consideration. This alternative consists of the removal of references to the original developer, the "Declarant", substituting the Association, the Board, or other appropriate verbiage in its place. Additionally, it changes the minimum lot size from one-acre to five acres to be in concert with county zoning and the AD #19-A water system design. Residential and accessory building sizes have also been modified. The Board and the CC&R Committee is requesting direction from the general membership between the two alternatives. A copy of both versions may be viewed at Ralston Management after the 20th of Dec. A copy will also be available at the Jan 12th, 2003 annual membership meeting.

AD 19-A Update
It's all good news! In fact, great news! EMWD has found a work-around for the stumbling block caused by the reported discovery of the endangered Quino Checkerspot Butterfly's feeding grounds. There was a slight possibility that the QCB, and endangered species may use the original proposed storage tank sites during their annual flight season. The US Fish & Wildlife Service is satisfied with an alternate tank site plan. EMWD is negotiating with the tank site property owner, and pursuing other necessary easements with other property owners. EMWD predicts that their final engineering design will be completed in April 2003. Public hearings will be scheduled for April or May followed by bond funding. Requests for construction bids will go out in May or June. Award of the construction contract is targeted for July with a construction start date of August 2003.
Pampero Fill
Station Use
The EMWD Pampero Fill Station located at the corner of Pampero & Gray Squirrel is designated for domestic use only. Property owners wanting to use water for grading or any construction project must obtain a permit from EMWD or RCWD.
The Richell's find
RGO the perfect
compromise.
Derek and Catherine Richell moved into our beautiful community in December 2001. Let me start by helping the community pronounce the Richell's name properly!! That "ch" is pronounced as a "ch" sound. Now we all won't drive these wonderful people crazy by constantly mispronouncing their name. The
Richell's found our community looking for a half way point. You see, Catherine and her family are in San Diego and Derek and his family are in Orange County. RGO was the perfect compromise.
I can only imagine the stress level involved in scheduling the move into your new house
on time but what would you say if I told you a wedding date was set at that new house!!! I'm not joking!! The Richell's had their wedding at their new house here in RGO TWO days after moving in. Can you image having 100+ people over for your wedding two days after moving in. I'm stressed just writing about it!! Of course it all worked out just fine and the Richell's are celebrating that first anniversary this month! Happy Anniversary!!
Catherine retired from the San Diego County Office of Education working as a computer training and repair specialist. Catherine loves to spend her retirement time reading and creating ceramics when she is not moving in or landscaping which we all know never ends!!
Derek is RGO's true computer guru! He retired from owning two software companies for the past 30+ years that specialized in developing customized software for large corporations. Derek would much rather spend his retirement days sailing and cabinet making but you and I know what he ends up spending most of his time doing here in RGO!
